Serialele „Game of Thrones“ şi „Westworld“ şi show-ul „Saturday Night Live“ au primit cele mai multe nominalizări anul acesta la premiile Emmy. Gala Emmy 2018 va avea loc pe 17 septembrie și va marca numeroase premiere cea mai importantă fiint detronarea rețelei HBO de către cei de la Netflix. HBO a fost timp de 17 ani cel mai puternic concurent!
Serialul „Urzeala tronurilor” („Game of Thrones”) a primit anul acesta 22 de nomibalizări. Anul trecut, serialul nu a fost eligibil entru cursa Emmy din cauza datei târzii de lansare.
În topul nominalizărilor urmează un alt serial HBO, „Westorld“, şi emisiunea „Saturday Night Live“, fiecare având câte 21 de nominalizări la Emmy 2018. Revine în competiţie şi câştigătorul marelui premiu de anul trecut, serialul distopic „The Handmaid’s Tale“, care a adus pentru prima dată titlul de Cel mai bun serial-dramă unei platforme de streaming, respectiv Hulu.
